Dear Christian families:
It is amazing how far away from God this country has
come. Virtually all of our early government leaders,
judges and documents quoted the Bible. Now,
constant legal challenges are made whenever God or
the Bible is mentioned. We should not be surprised
when the very educational system of this country does
not revere God.
Thought provoking questions:
Does it matter to our youth if the people that teach
them and the peers they bond with deny Jesus or love
Him?
What mentor would you choose for your child if you
had a choice? Would it be a homosexual who will try
to influence your child into this behavior? Would it be
an atheist who will brainwash your child into believing there is no
God? Would you choose a stranger with unknown
beliefs and behaviors? Or, would it be you who loves
them and will teach them God's truths? God gave you
this child; He will supply the wisdom and knowledge
for you to teach them and train them up
When we reflect on reasons America was founded--
the freedom to worship Jesus Christ--why then are
publicly schooled children forbidden to worship
Jesus for the majority of their day?
Considering Homeschooling Ministry helps Christian
parents with babies, toddlers, preschoolers and those
with their children in public schools discover the
blessings of a Biblical home education. We hope the
information in this issue will help you in making the
decision to Biblically home school your children. If you
have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact

| Secular Textbooks |
 |
|
A California reviewer of middle and high school public
school textbooks, said this, "It is common nowadays
to see schoolbooks that are packed, from cover to
cover, with blatant factual and conceptual errors, with
absurd statements that make no sense and with
pieces of 'information' that obviously have been
invented out of thin air... Of the 300 examined over the
past 12 years, "at least 75 percent have been so
blatantly incompetent that, with certainty, that the
people who wrote them had no idea of what they were
writing about."
When you take the Bible out of education, you have
taken the truth out as well. The Bible MUST be the
foundation to every textbook and to your child's
education.
In the textbook by William Haviland, Anthropology, 6th
ed., Holt-Rhinehard- Winston, 1991. Religion is
defined: when people are unable to solve their
problems through knowledge and science, they "turn
to the manipulation of supernatural beings and
powers." In Proverbs 26:12, For what is a man
profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his
own soul? Matthew 26:12. Where does knowledge
and wisdom come from, is it separate from God as
this author claims?
It is nearly impossible today, for your children to
overcome the ungodly pressures that come from a
combination of a secular system, secular teachers,
secular textbooks and secular peers, until they are
fully trained, mature and wise in the Lord-- and well
beyond their school years--so choose a Biblical Home
Education and give your children a Godly foundation.

| Researcher Urges Teachers to Confront Issue of Educator Misconduct |
 |
|
A study released by the U.S. Department of Education finds that nearly
ten percent of public school students are sexually harassed or abused at
some point by an educator or school worker.
The report by Hofstra University professor Charol
Shakeshaft says more than 4.5 million children have been subjected to physical,
verbal, or visual sexual abuse in school over the last decade. Required
under the No Child Left Behind Law, the report is the first to analyze
the field of research on educator sexual misconduct.

Why homeschool? Is it really effective? Am I qualified
to teach my children? Aren't public schools OK? What
about socialization?

academics, socialization, spiritual training, and more.
